NAD+
What is NAD+?
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) + is the active form of the NAD molecule and is one of the most essential molecules in your body and is involved in many different chemical reactions throughout your body.
As people age, NAD+ level tended to naturally decrease which can happen in quicker with a history of overeating and excessive alcohol consumption. Low levels of NAD+ have also been observed in people with other chronic diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, diabetes, heart disease, and premature skin aging.
NAD+ treatment is used in different ways depending on the dose and infusion scheduling.
Our 2 hour infusions are appropriate for people with Parkinson’s Disease, Alzheimer’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia, and Premature Skin Aging.
Our 8 hour infusions are appropriate for addiction therapy. NAD+ has been used in people recovering from addiction because of its ability to help heal the brain, reduce cravings, and reduce withdrawal symptoms. It is important to note this IV infusion is not a cure for addiction but rather a component in recovery therapy that should be used in conjunction with a collaborative team approach with an addiction counselor, family support, and other key resources.
NAD+ helps with cell regeneration, maximizing brain function, reducing and actually treating fatigue on a cellular level, and slowing aging by protecting DNA, regulating inflammation, and protecting the pathways that have links to age-related issues.
